In his address delivered at the dedication of the cemetery at Gettysberg Lincoln highly evaluated the mytrs who gave their lives in American Civil War and concluded it all fit and proper to dedicate a portion of this famous battlefield as the final resting place of them。Lincoln went further to emphasize the dead should be best memorized only through the career of the living,that is, to take increased devotion to the cause of democracy and liberty so that a government of the people,by the people and for the people may prevail。

I think it's very a great Address launched by Lincoln。The Gettysburg Address let the American people to see a properous future of America and find their confidence to face up their life。In a short,it gave the light to the American people。And its language is beatiful ans full of rhythm。There are lots of allieration and repition used ,so made the sounds heard powerful and strong。And it's very infuluencial!。
