other可以修飾名詞作前置定語例：We study math ,English ,Chinese and other subjeckets。another泛指三者以上的不定數目中的另一個。其名詞前不加冠詞。例：This shirt is too big。 I'll try another。the other表示兩者中的另一個(one。。。the other。。。結構），或兩部分中的另一部分是特指例：She has two children。 One is son, the other is daughter。There are six people in the room。 Four are boys , the other two are girls。the others指整體中除去一部分后，剩余的全部，表示特指例：Thirty are girls, the others are boys。。
