whatever的范圍比no matter what大．no matter what只能用與讓步狀語從句，whatever除了用與讓步狀語從句外還可以用于名詞性從句．如No matter what you say,I will not change my mind.這是一個讓步狀語從句，可以用whatever換．但I will give you whatever I have.則是名詞性從句，不能用no matter what換．不知是否清楚？
