I hurried home from school to make a cake for Mum because it' s her birthday. I thought Alice was watching television, but unfortunately（不幸地）she came into the kitchen to ask what I was doing. When I told her, she wanted to help of course. I made her promise to be careful, but, as usual, it was a disaster（災難）. First of all, she got out the flour（面粉）.She stood on the edge of a chair to reach the cupboard and fell off. She didn' t hurt herself, but the flour went all over the floor. When we had brushed up the flour, Alice took the eggs out of the frighe. As she was carrying them, her feet slipped（滑跌）on the flour. The eggs flew out of Alice' s hands, fell to the floor and broke. Poor Alice! She was so upset（心煩意亂）. Of course, she said sorry, but I couldn' t make a cake for Mum. I had to give Alice some money and send her to the shop to buy a cake for Mum instead!

我從學校里匆匆的跑回家，因為我要為即將過生日的媽媽制作一個生日蛋糕。我向愛麗絲一定是在看電視，但不幸的是，她走進了廚房并詢問我在干什么。當我告訴她我的想法是，她確信要幫助我，我讓他承諾一定要非常仔細認真，但是，和往常一樣，這又是一個災難。首先她拿出了面粉，當她站在椅子的邊緣想要用手到達碗柜時卻摔了下來，雖然她沒有傷到自己，但是面粉卻都撒到了地板上，當我們將地板掃干凈之后，愛麗絲又從冰箱里拿出了雞蛋，同樣當她拿著雞蛋的時候又摔在了地板上，雞蛋從愛麗絲的手里飛了出來，全部打碎在地板上。可憐的愛麗絲，她是如此的心煩意亂！當然她感到很抱歉，但是我已不能為媽媽制作蛋糕了。我不得不將錢給愛麗絲并讓他去商店買一個生日蛋糕給媽媽！
