一：1.where是修飾前面的北京的，代替in which。 d是連接兩個并列結構的句子或詞語，in the city和in it是并列的關系。二： is ...that是強調句的結構，原句中如果抽掉it is ...that仍能夠構成一個句子，則這是一個強調句。而①中抽掉it is ...that后，句子不能成立，所以是一個狀語從句，要用when來代替時間。nine o'clock不能作為狀語。而加了介詞at后就能做狀語。

1中第一個句子是一個定語從句，第二個句子是一個并列句，因為第二個句子中有一個并列連詞and ２中第一個句子是一個定語從句，第二個句子是一個強調句，如果把第二個句子中的it is ...that 去掉，把語序稍稍調整一下就是一個完整的句子，這是判斷是不是強調句的一個好辦法．
