The National University of Singapore’s (NUS) Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences will be launching two new Honours degree programmes from the next academic year.

Honours Degrees (榮譽(yù)學(xué)士學(xué)位)學(xué)生通常取得的學(xué)士學(xué)位為 ”Pass” 或是 ”O(jiān)rdinary” 學(xué)士學(xué)位，而Honours Degree則需多加一年的學(xué)習(xí)，進(jìn)入榮譽(yù)學(xué)士課程是依其學(xué)士課程的成績表現(xiàn)來做為甄選的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。此額外的一年學(xué)習(xí)通常包括專業(yè)科目的深入研究和完成一篇論文。榮譽(yù)學(xué)士課程通常為普通學(xué)士課程后再加一年，但有些科系已將其融合在普通學(xué)士課程內(nèi)，甄選上的學(xué)生可以在大二或大三開始其榮譽(yù)學(xué)士課程的學(xué)習(xí)
