全句的愿意應是： 流過這個城市的河流很長。 顯然that flows through the town是river的定語，只不過是一個從句作定語罷了。它是由關系詞that來引導的。選擇D就沒有這個引導詞了。

要是選D的話，就必須改為 the one which flows，要記住定語從句必須有引導詞（比如which、that、where……）

我們最好還原句子來看看the river that flows is ...是從句啊，一條流動的河 ,主語是the river 但是D答案，the river the one flows is ..這樣肯定不行拉，或者the river is the one flows though the town very long ,這樣的句式就沒有問題，但意思就不大對勁拉
