If no data about local wind velocity can be obtained, it is possible to decide the value through comparison and analysis based on: 1) basic wind velocity regulated in the nearby locations; or 2) the long term meteorologic and topographic materials as references; or 3) approximately decide according to Appendix D--National Basic Wind Pressure Distribution Map, of this code.
